Arctic Deliveries - Santa on Polar Bear. A very dynamic Santa Claus carving, carved from a single piece of wood and painted in wonderful detail. He's a foot tall and about 14 inches long with Santa carrying a toybag on his shoulder painted with a winter bird scene. This Russian Santa is hand carved from solid linden, also known as either basswood or lime in various parts of the world. Once carved and sanded the Santa is hand painted and finished in extraordinary detail with numerous coats and finally signed by the artist.
